Surgical Sperm Retrieval
Usually the sperms are taken from the ejaculate but in cases of azoospermia, sometime sperms are removed with the help of a needle. Various procedures such as –
- PESA (Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration)
- MESA (Micro Surgical Epididymal Sperm Aspiration)
- TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration)
- TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction)
- Micro-TESE (TESE performed with the help of a microscope)
